For Amie
I found a photo album a few days ago and these pictures were there, I thought you might like to see em. They are pictures taken around "home" during our 1st year away at college. The first ones are of an ice storm that went through town and the others show just how colorful Kansas can be!
UGH, Sweetie...I just read about your car being stolen.
I'm so sorry, and yes, it's CREEPY!!
We had our camcorder stolen right out of our motel room, a long time ago (Jonathan was 1). I was so upset because the film of Jonathan's first steps was still in the camera. But then Eric set me straight by reminding me that JONATHAN was safe, and it was only a camcorder.
But I really did feel violated, just like you said. And that feeling lasted for a while. To this day, we can't figure out how the camera was taken without our seeing it. We were obviously "cased" when we were swimming in the pool that evening, taking videos of Jonathan's first time in the water. Someone watched us and followed us. Very, very creepy.

Wow! They have trees in Kansas?? LOL
Those are some great shots. The iced trees look so ethereal.
How the heck are you, anyway???
